The EUMF service is intended to forecast energy consumption and local generation of residential homes. It is split in two different services, with different requirements:
- EUMF-H (EUMF for Homes), which is provided as a Software-as-a-Service Web site able to compute long-term energy forecasting by accessing to other data sources (e.g., weather forecasting)
- EUMF-K (EUMF for Control), which is a software to be used by real-time services like, e.g., EBR in order to quickly compute (without using external sources) short-term energy forecasting
