The EUR service is intended to give suggestions to reduce home electrical energy usage regarding thermal appliances (i.e., heat pumps). It is split in two different services, with different requirements:
- EUR-H (EUR for Homes), which is provided as a Software-as-a-Service Web site able to estimate overall energy efficiency of the electrical appliances in a given home.
- EUR-K (EUR for Control), which is provided as a Software-as-a-Service Web site able to compute the home average U-value. Using such data and the heat pump Coefficient of Performance (COP), EUR-K supports home users in increasing home energy efficiency.
